Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver and owe the overall CDS discrete system applications roadmap
  • Manage all aspects of Gallery, Indiko, Optilite and Niche platform applications life cycle
  • Deliver Gallery, Indiko, Optilite and Niche product information related to applica-tions (NTU and other) for customer communication
  • Identify and justify new customer application needs, work closely with the com-mercial organization and Vantaa R&D team to create application requirements and other product related documents and plans. Coordinate activities for the dif-ferent platforms when/if possible/required
  • Drive the competiveness of the applications portfolio by keeping up with technol-ogy and competitive developments in the market and maintain a high level of knowledge of competitors’ strategy, positioning and technical capabilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise in applications related customer, partnership and R&D questions
  • Participate in the review process of applications info and launch material.
  • Work with the whole BU team to develop the sales tools that support the selling process of all discrete analyzer product lines
  • Coach and support the discrete analyzer team with the application related topics when applicable
  • Deliver application training for the discrete analyzers as indicated in the annual plan/strategy and participate in the system support process
  • Participate the monitoring of the customer satisfaction and initiate improve-ments/corrective actions as necessary to ensure the customer expectations are met
  • Responsible for diagnostic sustaining project management and related diagnostic complaint management
  • Handle routine diagnostic production issues

Experience and Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level
  • Customer orientation – the position requires daily contact with customers, dis-tributors and partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent skills in written and spoken English, Finnish required
