We are looking for a

Product Sourcing Director

to lead our Product Sourcing team in Business Area Retail. This permanent position can be located either in Espoo, Finland or in Stockholm, Sweden.

Business Area Retail focuses on offering health and wellbeing products and services for pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, private and public healthcare operators as well as retailers and veterinarians in Finland and Sweden. Business area Retail is also responsible for product sourcing activities, customer care and dose dispensing sales.

Product Sourcing Director will be responsible for processes and procedures of products’ strategic buying and product quality, best purchase prices and terms of Oriola’s product portfolio. The person acting in this position is responsible of securing that Oriola has a supplier portfolio that enables stable and reliable fulfillment of all our requirements. In addition, the person is responsible of securing the product quality of the product portfolio and evaluation of the suppliers.

You are leading the product sourcing and quality team operating in both Sweden and Finland. You will be part of BA Retail´s Management team.

The main contact points for the position are concerning supplier contacts regarding negotiations, agreements and tenders. This includes close co-operation with KAM, CEO, sales director, marketing director and logistic directors. In addition, there will be co-operation with the BA and functions in Oriola about supplier agreements, product changes and logistic topics. The position requires occasional traveling.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (min 3 years in Sourcing, Logistic or Finance) or similar knowledge gained from other education or relevant work experience
  • 10 years’ experience of working with strategic sourcing and purchasing in similar positions. Experience from the retail sector is qualifying.
  • Proven track record of successful strategic buying management and development
  • Experience in product and supplier quality
  • Strong experience in successful leadership in Sweden and Finland
  • Positive attitude towards continuous improvement and development activities
  • Good IT skills
  • Fluently English is required and native in Swedish or Finnish. The other language is qualifying.
