Product Sales Manager

Are you interested in moving our customers’ performance forward in our global, efficient and fastmoving Filtration team?

We are looking for an experienced Sales professional whose main responsibilities are to:

  • Meeting or exceeding sales budget for France wet filtration and in additional countries optionally added later on
  • Prepare and deliver annual sales budget targets
  • Participates in local sales activities in selected industries
  • Consults with supervisors and other Product Sales Managers
  • Analyzes our possibilities and proposes actions to enter new areas
  • Provides data and information from the markets on regular basis
  • Ensure customer information is maintained in CRM tools
  • Develops local inventories according to customers’ needs
  • Conducts laboratory testing at customers’ sites when necessary
  • Identify and solve potential problems in customer’s filtration process and filter fabrics
  • Ensure longer term customer satisfaction
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.

To succeed in your position, it is essential that you work in close co-operation with our Product and R&D experts. You bring in and report the first-hand information about customers and together with the internal colleagues you can optimize our current offering and create new solutions to better match the customer’s needs. It is equally important to work closely with our Sales and shipping team to ensure on time quotation, order handling and shipping processes and alignment with existing customer contracts. We expect you to follow Valmet’s principles and ethics in all efforts, external and internal relations.


•Experience/track record of minimum 3 years of technical sales in the process industries (eg. Pulp,Paper,Chemical,Mining)

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or commercial is a plus

•Willingness and ability to travel on a frequent basis

•Fluent written and oral presentation and communication skills in English

•Negotiation and facilitation skills

•Interest in and capabilities of working with people from different backgrounds
