Product Portfolio Manager, Marioff (Carrier)

About the role

We are looking for a Product portfolio manager to strengthen our Product lifecycle management team. Join us in our mission to protect life and business continuity!

As a Product portfolio manager, you will have shared ownership of the HI-FOG Product portfolio. You will create and maintain analysis and roadmaps for the HI-FOG product category in co-operation with a cross functional team at Marioff. You will also have a key role in driving product portfolio transformation and standardization a truly in cross-functional role. As part of Portfolio lifecycle management, you will work with different internal stakeholders, such as engineering, business units, operations, finance, and service personnel.

Key responsibilities for this position include

• Shared ownership of HI-FOG product portfolio roadmaps

• Analyze and report competitive product features, benefits and take appropriate actions to provide a competitive portfolio of HI-FOG products

• Facilitate effective execution of the implementation phase in product portfolio management process across teams

• Work with cross-functional teams to actively upgrade & value engineering products, and manage lifecycles

• Be critical about standard product category proliferation and lead product portfolio rationalization

• Partner to ensure that training, marketing etc. materials communicate product value & differentiation in a compelling way

To be successful in the role you need to have:

• Technical background (preferably university level degree)

• Strong analytical and project management skills

• Experience with mechanical products and systems

• Understanding of customer solutions and market in Land and Marine businesses

• Knowledge of PLM systems (e.g. Windchill)

• Excellent command of the English language

• Good communication skills and experience of cross-functional roles
