We are now building a new team within Finnair to take the lead in the Nordic experience business. PRODUCT MANAGER, FINLAND

to plan and deliver to sales a customer-centric incoming leisure product portfolio in designated destination areas in line with Destination Nordics brand, product, destination and purchasing strategies. The position reports to the Head of Finnair Holidays.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning inspirational experience programs in line with destination and product strategy.
  • Conceptualizing travel offerings and communication.
  • Contracting hotel and destination services in Finland.
  • Optimizing revenue and sales margin in designated destinations by customer-driven product planning and contract negotiations.
  • Following consumer behavior and trends affecting current and future demand in Finland and in the Nordics.
  • Seeking information and staying updated with market situation and competitors’ product presentation and portfolio in all distribution channels.
  • Feeding input to product strategy and product development for potential new products or services in Finland and in general.

To be considered for the role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry in incoming business.
  • Strong track record in leisure travel product management, product development and negotiation/contracting activities.
  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken. Other languages (Finnish, Nordic) are considered as assets.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
  • Knowledge in contract forming, relevant legal matters and ethical awareness.
  • Capability to identify trends and patterns from multiple information sources.
