We are looking for a Product Line Specialist for plastics recycling. You will join a team of highly professional plastics and recycling experts. In your role, you will develop and manage the operations of Fortum's international plastics business together with the team and support in implementing the business strategy of business unit Recycling and Energy. You will work with customer projects as a technical advisor and develop our Circo compounds to meet application specific needs. Also, you should be able to help us to further develop our processes and recycling technologies. In this role you will work also with international stakeholders and be a part of shaping the international plastics recycling market.
You will have a unique opportunity to be a part of the growing plastics recycling business and develop yourself to an expert in the field of plastics in a leading circular economy company. This role offers a rare viewpoint to one of the most important practical ways to implement circular economy in practice. The plastics recycling market is international and this role allows you to develop also international business skills.
You have a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in relevant field, preferably Materials Science. You are familiar with plastic materials and you have studies in polymer chemistry and most common plastics processing technologies. You have basic project management skills and are able to run development projects.
As a person you are curious, results oriented and able to work independently. You enjoy working with different external and internal stakeholders. You also have good basic communication and presentation skills and you are able to build networks both inside and outside the company. Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement.
