As a Product Designer, you will:
Lead design efforts for our Care plans module, all the way from discovery to delivery.
Solve complex design problems, reframe challenges, and take on ambiguous concepts.
Create journey maps, flows, and diagrams to effectively communicate ideas, design decisions, and experience patterns.
Work cross-functionally with designers and your product team (engineers and product managers) to craft customer-centric and accessible product experiences.
Discover and analyse product opportunities and insights through various research methods.
Deliver clear and comprehensive UX/UI specifications.
Present and communicate concepts to stakeholders of various backgrounds.
Pay attention to both the bigger picture and small details to ensure that we deliver coherent product experiences.
What we offer:
A key role in being a part of building Mehiläinen's internationalisation in a startup-like environment but with a solid financial backing.
Opportunity to be part of driving the digital age of healthcare.
Possibility to expand your role both geographically and in scope of responsibilities as the business grows.
Strong and supportive team to help you succeed in your role.
An employer who invests in digital services and wellbeing of its employees.
Flexibility in the work location: Helsinki, Turku, Tampere and Jyväskylä – with remote work possibilities.
Who you are:
You have relevant experience as a product or UX/UI designer, preferably as an in-house contributor. For this role, we require candidates to share the portfolio that includes relevant work.
You are a curious professional with in-depth understanding of design principles, research methods, digital accessibility, and cross-functional product development practices.
You can translate concepts into viable solutions, and you are comfortable with learning how integrations and technical limitations affect our product.

You can articulate your design decisions, and you share and receive feedback in a productive manner.
You are proficient with design and specification tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar (we use Figma).
We consider it a plus if:
