What you get to do
In this position, you are responsible for international sourcing activities for our construction projects. Your tasks include, e.g., communicating with projects and suppliers, analyzing procurement needs, providing support in tendering processes and drafting contracts, as well as the contract follow-up. The preselection and auditing of as well as the performance reviews and feedback for suppliers are also on your agenda. You will be appointed a couple of big projects, for which you will provide day-to-day support.
As a part of our procurement team, you will support, guide and train our business units and our projects in international procurement issues. You maintain the guidelines, documents, and training material related to international procurement. Furthermore, you make sure on your own part that the goals for health and safety, sustainability and ethicality are met within our supply chain.
Additionally, you strive to develop our processes and practices to best suit our business needs. To succeed in this position, you actively follow the supplier markets and are aware of price development. Whilst your primary workplace is our Helsinki office, you travel to visit projects and suppliers both locally and internationally.
