We are looking for a Procurement Development Manager to join the Fortum’s Corporate Procurement function. You will be responsible of the development activities and the selected projects related to group level procurement tools and templates, processes, instructions and compliance as well as competence development. The location for this position is at Fortum Headquarters in Espoo.
You will be responsible to improve and implement our source-to-pay (S2P) processes and related tools to ensure that our procurement activities are efficient and compliant with the legal requirements, internal control framework and corporate rules. This includes, among others, leading the implementation and the development of our procurement processes and systems within whole Fortum, improving our instructions and contract templates, and ensuring trainings for people. In addition you might be representing and co-ordinating activities in procurement as part of group level projects.
As a procurement development manager, you will work closely with several stakeholders in procurement, finance, legal, sustainability and IT towards common targets.

You have a suitable Master's degree or equivalent competences in engineering, economics or business management and at least 3–5 years of working experience in relevant field (e.g. operational procurement, procurement development, consulting, or process development).
You have experience and proven track record of leading development projects with various stakeholders. Previous experience on procurement processes and development is highly appreciated. In addition, you are competent working with corporate IT systems and proficient with excel and power point.
You are an active and self-initiative team player ready to challenge our current way of working in a positive and creative way, and to seek best practices and opportunities for improvement. We value proven problem solving skills, hands-on attitude, commercial and analytical mindset and change management skills.
You are fluent in oral and written English and Finnish. Swedish is considered as a plus.
