We are looking for a

Procurement Analyst

to join Metsä Group Sourcing and Logistics team in Espoo.

What do you get to do?

You will work with procurement professionals in direct, indirect, administrative and logistics sourcing categories. We expect you to take full use of our procurement tools and help us to improve our procurement processes even further.  

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Follow up and analyze procurement process performance (KPI’s) and internal controls and propose and follow up corrective actions to improve performance
  • Develop procurement process related reporting in co-operation with process managers
  • Support sourcing categories and area sourcing in biddings, negotiation preparations and contract implementation and provide category specific spend, inventory and market analyses
  • Create periodic reports and analyses for business controller, sourcing management and steering. Follow up and analyze budgeted and actual costs.
  • Follow up and analyze sourcing and logistics related regulations impact to performance

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an analytical person who is interested in procurement and has a mindset for development. You have relevant academic education (e.g. M.Sc. Tech. or Econ.) and understanding of procurement processes. In order to succeed, you have also good interpersonal and communication skills. Strong data analysis skills, MS Power BI knowledge is considered an advantage.
