Process Owner, Change and Release Management

High-quality customer experience cannot be achieved without quality services. Our Service Integration and Support unit ensures efficient and reliable tools and processes in OP at group level. Our goal is that the reliability of our services and every encounter with us is top notch. We are now looking for an experienced Change and Release Management expert to join our team. The location of the position can be either in Helsinki or Oulu.
Process Owner, Change and Release Management
About the role
With service integration, we create common operating methods for managing OP's IT services. We offer our service owners easy-to-use management tools and support functions. In this role, you will build processes, tools, and agile culture to achieve our goals of shared practices. You lead our vendors in the multi-supplier ecosystem to make cooperation in the spirit of SIAM a reality. You refine operations toward continuous automated production releases and improve the quality of configuration management.
Our success is measured in terms of satisfied customers and improved speed and quality in change and release management. More automation means less disruption, faster lead-time, and better cost efficiency.
You have experience in Agile software development and have worked with change and release management processes in a multi-vendor environment. You have experience in DevOps & ITIL change management practices, and are familiar with process automation, CI/CD, Jira and ServiceNow.
You have “Service Management identity” and want to be renewing OP's service integration practices in a digitalizing world. You have previously worked for example as Process Manager, Product Manager, Delivery Manager or Architect. You have been building ITSM service models where SIAM aspect is strongly present. You are experienced in international supplier management.
As a people-person you can build partnerships, communicate transparently, and get things done together with people around you. You can describe even complex concepts with many dependencies in an understandable way. You have Bachelor/University degree in computer science or in another applicable field. In business related matters you communicate fluently in English, proficiency in Finnish is an advantage.
