Process Engineer, Valmet Technologies Oy
Valmet Technologies Oy
Are you keen on process technology and enjoy working with software? Come and join our team of professionals!
We are now looking for a Process Engineer to join our dynamic Mill Wide NCG Solutions team. This is a fixed term position until the end of the year.
As the Process Engineer you will be the specialist of Comos software in sales. You will participate in developing the process concept and in dimensioning together with product engineers. You will insert the concept details into Comos, manage any changes and also create parts of the process yourself. The work is very detailed, and it will be the foundation for the whole project and for other people's work.
To be successful in this position you should have at least a Bachelor's degree in a suitable field (energy, environmental or process technology, chemistry). We value understanding and experience of PI&Ds, Comos and pulp mill processes. You have fluent English skills, both spoken and written, other languages are an advantage. You don't have to be a process design professional but maybe you want to become one in the future!
We appreciate a team player with a positive can-do attitude. You understand the big picture and its causalities, but you enjoy very detailed calculation work. An organized and systematic working style is needed, as you will be involved in several projects simultaneously. Even though much of your time will be spent independently working with the software, you need to proactively reach out for information and support and also share your work with others. You can deliver results in a changing project environment with tight schedules.
We are part of the Recovery business unit serving pulp mill customers around the world. We are a preferred supplier with our wide product portfolio of non-condensable gas collection. We offer a position in an international team where collaboration is a given, and help is available whenever needed. The workdays can be hectic, but the content is variable and full of learning opportunities.
