Would you be our new Process Engineer?
We are seeking for a plant Process Engineer to join Metso Outotec´s Plant Solutions Business Line, Process Islands team. As a plant Process Engineer you have a key responsibility in product and process development for our plants and plant products. We are continuously improving our existing products and developing new ones, and you will be playing an important part in that process, working closely together with the product managers. You will also be providing sales and delivery support to help meet our clients' needs with the best possible solutions. In your daily work you will be creating and working with documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, Mass Balances, Piping and Instrumentation diagrams, Equipment Lists and Process and Control Descriptions. Our office is based in Espoo, but you have the opportunity for remote work too.

What are we looking for?
You are enthusiastic about process development and enjoy working in an innovative multicultural context. You have a suitable educational background for this role (engineering, for example in process technology or chemical engineering) and already couple of years’ experience working with process technology. We expect you to have a good process understanding, strong critical thinking skill as well as a willingness to learn and improve things. Good cross-disciplinary understanding will be seen to your advantage. Working in an international environment, you will need fluent spoken and written English language skills.

As a person you are a patient, accurate and proactive problem solver, who enjoys working independently as well as in a team. You will work with various stakeholders each day and therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important in this role. We hope that you are able to perform well under pressure and have a relaxed and flexible professional mindset. You will be continuously learning new things and it is important that you are motivated and eager to develop your skills and knowledge with our processes and products.
