We are looking to hire Process Development Engineer to improve Murata Assembly processes and automation level in our Vantaa site.

Your tasks contain mainly developing processes and process tools but also purchasing new capable equipment. If you already have experience from die and wire bonding processes and/or dispensing it would be a great benefit. You will specialize in gel process and you are responsible for dispensing process development. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining collaboration and development in your sphere of responsibilities.

Along with experience and training your responsibilities may be extended to other assembly processes as well. As a Process Development Engineer you will be working in close collaboration with your own team as well as maintenance and process quality teams. Every now and then you will also work in our clean room manufacturing environment and with our production staff.

These characteristics will support your success in the position:

  • Technical education (e.g. B.Eng. or M.Sc.)
  • Problem solving skills and techniques
  • Passion to develop manufacturing via means of automation
  • Data analyzing skills (e.g. Excel, Mini-Tab, JMP)
  • Designing innovative solutions to improve manufacturing quality and yield

You can be in the beginning of your career or you can already have more experience about these tasks. We will introduce you to our systems, processes and quality requirements. It is an advantage if you have basic knowledge of quality systems, process qualification methods or data base queries (e.g. SQL). You are able to provide reports and communicate in English.
