Process designer

to ensure that Auramarine fuel supply systems are designed to meet engine makers´ recommendations and project specific requirements. In this position you get to utilize your knowledge of process related components (heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, instrumentation, filters, pipe systems etc.) In general skills in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics and willingness to learn new things within high-end technology branch we consider as an advantage. Main tasks are to perform daily design work based on specifications in offer and order stages. In addition, duties in cooperation with R&D may be included in the work scope. Analytical orientation together with motivation to independently acquire more information is highly appreciated.  Requirements: 
  • experience in marine/power plant machinery systems
  • M.Sc or B.Sc. or relevant
  • experience and/or education within process/marine/energy engineering
  • familiar with relevant marine classification rules and also EU directives
  • fluent AutoCAD and MS Office
  • can maintain efficient and accurate manner while working independently
  • Finnish and English languages, written and spoken
  • documentation skills
  • flexibility to work with different people from different cultures
  • ability to travel some days per year
  • knowledge of PDM-systems and Solidworks are considered as an advantage
