We are looking for an experienced, senior-level HW designer ready to take over the responsibilities of the current expert retiring at the end of the year. This role requires a deep understanding of electronics and power electronics and extensive experience designing in these fields.

Your duties will include designing, productizing, and maintaining power electronics products and independently carrying out projects while working closely with the team. We expect you to have an open and cooperative attitude. Your workdays in the laboratory will include technical tasks and collaboration with various stakeholders to find the best solutions for the client with the team. In addition to strong technical skills, you are expected to communicate expertly with clients, creating and finding effective solutions for their needs. Work tasks

• Design, productization, and maintenance of power electronics products
• Development of new products, as well as product renewals and improvements
• Maintenance of the current product range
• Meeting technical requirements and customer specifications
• Collaboration with product development, procurement, and sales teams
• Technical product ownership

We are looking for

• Relevant education and strong professional expertise
• Experience in power electronics design and conversions (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC)
• Understanding of industry standards and industrial requirements
• Enthusiasm for working at the customer interface
• Fluent communication skills in English (working language is English). Good communication skills in Finnish are considered an advantage for the applicant.
• Ability to act as a technical senior designer and product owner, understanding power electronics topologies, solutions, and components.
  Understanding embedded software is considered an advantage.
