Description of the position
As a Bioinformatician trainee in the Digital Medicine department you will explore multiple diverse omics databases and datasets in the fields of pain and oncology. You will help with the on-going discovery and research projects in their everyday objectives and challenges. You will collaborate with both internal and external functions and partners, and you will get to work together with our research biologists and projects. This role is based in Turku.
Description of the unit

Requirements
You are MSc / PhD student in bioinformatics. Experience of the omic principles underly cancer and/or pain (a common complex genetic disorder) will be a plus. Experience with exploratory data analysis and visualization using e.g. R or Python is required. Good communication skills are needed.
