I am Tommi Kankare and I am leading MarCom Operations Team at Telia. Right now, we are looking for an extraordinary performance marketer to help drive growth through Paid media channels. As a member of the MarCom Operations Team, you’ll be responsible overseeing performance of campaigns across a variety of online and offline channels, working with cross functional teams to support Telia’s core B2C and B2B business customer and revenue growth.

This is an excellent role for candidates that have 6+ years of relevant experience and are excited about using their skills alongside a strong marketing team to build one of the strongest brands in telecom/ICT/Technology.

You will: 

  • Manage budgets for acquisition, development and retention campaigns from online channels including Search, Display, Mobile, and Social
  • Direct and manage media agency people to achieve goals and ROI targets
  • Work with MarCom managers to achieve their performance goals that drive new user adoption and revenue growth
  • Oversee a process of testing to prove hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations
  • Monitor web analytics dashboards and key reporting tools, pointing out key areas of importance
  • Help support weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI’s.
  • Communicate weekly updates, progress reports, timelines, and results.
  • Write briefs to define program objectives and KPIs, optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Work closely with the other teams and stakeholders to ensure acquisition goals are met.

Who are you?

You have a mindset of a modern, data-driven marketer and aren’t afraid of getting your hands dirty. We expect you to have expertise in SEM, Facebook advertising and programmatic which are the main channels in our performance marketing.

You should have a good knowledge on utilizing first party data in marketing through data onboarding and feeds. Experience in optimization of performance marketing towards set of KPIs is essential in this role. Also, experience working in a media agency is considered as a plus as you will play a key role in managing the agency executing the channels.

Your Experience:

  • At least 6+ years of related performance marketing experience and a background within online advertising, ideally in a media agency
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one of the channels (SEM / Facebook advertising, programmatic)
  •  Advanced data analyzing skills and knowledge in marketing data analysis
  • A strong grasp of Web Analytics (for example Google Analytics) and metrics driven (performance) marketing

  • Able to take responsibility and ownership to deliver on agreed tasks
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems and attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
