People Partner, Compensation & Benefits

Are you a proactive People professional passionate about employee experience? Would you like to utilize your expertise in Compensation & Benefits to build something completely new? Metacore, the gaming company behind the hit game Merge Mansion, is now looking for a People Partner specialized in Compensation and Benefits, to join their team in Helsinki!

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the best possible employee experience and support for Metacore employees. You will act as a People Partner for a dedicated Metacore team, consisting of professionals from various functions. You will work hands-on with various People processes, ranging from performance reviews, plans for employees’ personal development and onboarding of new employees. You will work in close cooperation with the whole People team, as well as team leads throughout the whole company.

In addition to the daily People tasks and processes, you get to take ownership of building and designing Metacore’s Compensation & Benefits model from the start. By researching the salary competitiveness and the industry expectations you will ideate and build clear salary structures that aim to retain and attract the right talents. You will develop the overall salary and compensation model as well as Metacore’s option plans further, and you will also have an impact on the benefits package to meet the needs of the employees.

The ideal talent for the role is a people-oriented and open-minded person with excellent communication skills - people enjoy talking with you as you listen to them carefully, you freely propose ideas and communicate them in a clear manner and most importantly know when to ask for help. You have a knack for creating systems and procedures around you but you are not too set in your ways: your healthy skepticism for the status quo and your trial-and-error mindset for trying out new things have proven successful in the past as well. You have already gained experience in People roles and you have a proven track record of developing Compensation & Benefits structures.

Metacore requires you to have

• A minimum of few years of experience from a People function, specializing in compensation and benefits

• Understanding of the laws and regulations affecting salaries and benefits

• Self-started mindset with a systematic approach to problem solving and preparedness to take over wider entities

• Willingness to build processes from scratch and ability to see the big picture

• People-oriented personality and good social skills - you are easily approachable and enjoy working with all kinds of people

• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English

• Experience working in a growth phase company

In this permanent and full-time position you will be employed directly by Metacore. We hope you can work at Metacore’s Helsinki office as part of a hybrid model, ideally on a weekly basis or according to agreement.
