We are now looking for a Patient Safety & Product Complaint Associate to join Eli Lilly Finland (maternity leave replacement)

  • In this position, you will be mainly responsible for the Patient Safety & Product Complaint related activities occurring in Finland. This role also includes acting as Responsible Pharmacist back-up. You will be a part of the medical team in Nordic.

Main responsibilities

Patient Safety

  • Comply with internal procedures and external regulations for managing AEs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for receipt and collection of initial and follow up AE reports via email, fax, post, and phone or in person.
  • Responsible for review, entry in Safety Database, assessment, and acknowledgement of AE reports.
  • Complete case follow-up as directed or required.
  • Ensuring appropriate communications between Patient Safety locally and GPS and with various other applicable functions.

Product Complaints

  • Ensure that Product Complaints are handled in compliance with local and global requirements and relevant complaint documents/SOPs.
  • Support the Responsible Complaint Person, Nordic area.
  • Timely translation and forwarding of product complaint reports.
  • Escalate appropriate product complaint issues to the responsible person.

Professional Criteria

  • Education: Master of Pharmacy (or higher)
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Finnish and English language skills – written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows XP).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
