About This Role:

The primary responsibility of the Partner Manager is to grow and develop the M-Files’ business through both the recruitment and development of new partners and the management of existing partners to maximize M-Files revenue while ensuring customer success.

The Partner Manager understands the fundamental concepts of the M-Files solution and is capable of presenting them clearly; in such a way that they are able to demonstrate how specific business problems can be addressed using M-Files. The Partner Manager should also have the business acumen and industry knowledge to understand a partner's core business and be able to communicate how the right form of M-Files partnership can impact positively on their business.

The Partner Manager will work predominantly with the M-Files Direct Sales team in the Nordics and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Your office location can be Espoo or Tampere.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Building business growth with our existing partners. This will include planning and organizing joint marketing activities and campaigns to generate interest for M-Files technology within our partner organizations as well as among their customers.
  • Identification, recruitment and on-boarding of a range of partners for the following partner classes:
    • Professional Service partners participating in M-Files technology delivery projects in the Nordics and DACH area.
    • Commercial partners such as ERP-vendors partnering with M-Files. These partnerships may include both technical integration aspects as well as joint marketing activities. The M-Files Marketing team will provide support for these tasks.
  • Development of a suitable M-Files marketing strategy for each partner (based on partner class); including provision of support through its adoption.
  • Actively engaging with selected partners (including site visits, and joint planning activities) as necessary to ensure optimum partner performance.
  • Responding to product related questions (including sales advice, technical queries and licensing enquiries) from partners and their customers; while making effective use of M-Files resources and business units to deliver this service.
  • Managing lead flow and opportunity registration in line with company and territory policies.
  • Working effectively and efficiently across all M-Files business functions to meet objectives.

Personal Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for creating new commercial ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate product strengths and benefits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with good presentation skills.
  • Experience in solution sales in a technology-centric environment
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to listen to partners and customers and translate their needs into actionable plans and new business proposals.
  • Willingness to travel as reasonably required by the business.
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g. Salesforce.com).

Optional requirements:

  • Experience and understanding of adjacent technologies e.g. capture, electronic forms etc.
  • Experience of competitive ECM products and solutions
  • Particular experience of marketing or selling into a specific vertical market sector
