Job description

Job main purpose is ensuring that the organization is delivering excellent service to AXA Customer’s and is working as efficiently as possible.

As a Country Operations Manager you are responsible for supervising operations within an insurance practice and ensuring that claims are processed in a timely manner.

You will work closely with the Nordic Operations management team, contributing to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.


-Ensure Operational Excellence in all operational activities
-Continuously improve and oversee the operational systems, processes, policies and controls
-Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the operations management team
-Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Country Operations
-Manage and use operations reporting for planning and stakeholder communication
-Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
-Ensure operations team skills and competence is monitored, maintained and developed
-Collaboration with across the functions and clients


-Proven record and work experience in Insurance or Customer Service
-At least 3 years’ experience in leading teams
-Minimum BA-degree
-Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
-High comfort level working in a diverse, international and dynamic environment
-High professional ethical standards
-Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
-Language skills; fluent Finnish or Swedish (Danish or Norwegian) and excellent English
