We are looking for a Operational Support Specialist, Innovation to join our PMO and Operational support team in Porvoo.
We have a small team of dedicated professionals working in PMO (Portfolio Management Office) and Operational support team, which belongs to the Innovation Excellence Unit. Our team is responsible for developing the portfolio, project and resourcing process and project management capability in Innovation, as well as providing operational support to the Innovation organisation. We also hold ownership for IT systems used in portfolio management and play a key role in managing personnel and project data.
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are
planning and organising internal and external meetings and events, including training
managing Innovation internal communication in cooperation with the communications team
supporting line managers in onboarding new employees and in employee engagement activities
supporting daily procurement activities
managing common Google Drives, including updating access rights and content structure.
You will work closely with line managers and project managers of Core R&D, Discovery and Collaboration and Innovation Excellence Units to support them in their important roles. You will report to the Innovation Portfolio Manager. Your main stakeholders are primarily located in Porvoo, but also in Espoo. Work can be done partly in the remote mode.
The best combination to success in this role
applicable education, e.g. BBA
2+ years of experience in similar roles, preferably in an international environment
solid organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
fluent oral and written English and Finnish
flexibility and can-do attitude as well as willingness to develop operations
We also value
skills in using Google tools

The recruitment process will include interviews and aptitude assessment. The first interviews are preliminarily scheduled to take place on week 1/2023.
The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. A security clearance is obtained with their consent.
