We are strengthening our Operations Development team in Vantaa. Team is responsible for development of production processes and methods as well as implementation of changes in technology and operations.
We are now looking for an Operation Development Engineer
Your main responsibilities will include:
Development of operational and technical processes and practices in Tikkurila Group’s production in Vantaa, Finland
Finding areas to develop towards improved performance following LEAN principles and towards economic and sustainability goals. Responsibilities cover both detailed factory level as well as large-scale development
Executing development and investment projects within own field
As a key person in Operations development you will work closely with local management as well as other colleagues and stakeholders to find best practices and implement new solutions
To succeed in this role, you have...
Master’s degree in technology e.g. industrial engineering, chemical engineering or similar
Strong analytical skill and a desire to become a top-professional in production development
Experience in working in a production environment, preferably in a position including development responsibilities
Experience in project work or project management is an advantage
Result driven way of working
Good communicational skills and a team-work oriented mindset
Both written and spoken fluency in Finnish and English
The position is based in Vantaa, Finland. You will report to Production Technology and Safety Manager, Lars-Johan Karlsson.
