On-Site Installation Manager, Maillefer Extrusion Oy

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role your main responsibility is managing and leading on site turnkey installation projects for the wire and cable business line. In weekly basis you are responsible for dealing with installation teams, Maillefer Extrusion Oy internal technical/engineering team and target to strengthen and develop the turnkey product concept. You will develop into the installation product owner and be responsible for handling scope of works for the installation purchasing, planning resourcing as well as on site procedures such as quality, health and safety. This role includes travelling and we are also expecting you to be able to work at the office in Vantaa.

JOB DUTIES

Your main responsibility is to manage and lead on site turnkey installation projects and your workdays include following tasks (see references here):

* Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (such as inhouse specialists and subcontractors) to ensure that the schedule and quality targets are met
* To develop the process to make each project more efficient
* Reporting
* Attending to safety-, schedule- and coordination meetings with subcontractors and customers

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Relevant Education f.e. Bachelor / Master of Science or equivalent relevant experience
* Previous experience in industrial on-site project management or managing installation teams
* Excellent skills in English both spoken and written and at least basics in Finnish and preferable Swedish
* Willigness to travel and manage on-site jobs for about 4 months or 150 days a year
* We also consider as an advantage other language skills.
