Meyer IT delivers shipbuilding IT services for Meyer companies in Germany and Finland. We are currently aligning our service organization for the global needs and preparing our end-user support services for the future.

Next Gen IT Service Desk Professional


Your responsibilities

As an IT Service Desk Professional, you will engage in the continuous improvement of end-user experience. On the one hand, you will promote the usage of our self-service portal and drive the quality in the IT self-services. On the other hand, you will support the first-level support provider to meet the end-user expectations. Your tasks include e.g. clarifications for non-assignable requests, maintaining the knowledge database and catalogue in our ITSM solution, follow-up on end-user feedback and supporting the management of the first-level support provider.

As a member of our global end-user support services team, you will work in an international environment. As an IT Service Desk Professional, you will get involved in realizing a modern shift left approach within the redesign of our end-user support services.


Who we are looking for

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in IT and at least 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role. 

As an IT Service Desk Professional you will be working in close co-operation with the support provider, global IT colleagues and the end users. Therefore, you should be fluent in both Finnish and English languages. 

Previous experience in IT end user support services, ITIL and Servicenow is valued.
