Model developer - power markets
SKM Market Predictor

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex fundamental models of the Nordic and European power markets
• Work in the international team of model developers and analysts
• Contribute to the ad-hoc advisory projects focusing on mathematical calculations

Requirements:

• University degree in mathematics or IT
• Experience with mathematical modelling, knowledge of mathematic methods and optimization algorithms, practical experience with optimization tasks
• Significant programming experience with Matlab
• Knowledge of Python programming language and data analysis libraries (Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib)
• Knowledge of energy markets is a strong advantage
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
• Good communication skills in English. Skills in one of the Nordic languages is beneficial.
