We are now looking for a Mill Controller to join our Stora Enso Controlling team at Oulu for a permanent position.

As a Mill Controller you have the full responsibility of mill financials. You will act as a business partner to Mill director and your key role is to provide financial insights and steer through analyses. During the operations building phase, you will be a vital player in steering the ramp up process from controlling perspective. Your main responsibility is to create and launch controlling processes within the new function and to ensure they are aligned with company’s policies.

Your key tasks include:
• Overall responsibility of mill finance, including P&L and BS reporting and forecasting.
• Creating and implementing controlling processes for a new setup.
• Co-operating and building a new culture and way-of-doing in a matrix organization.
• Acting as right hand to mill director and mill management team.
• Membership and contribution to Containerboards controlling team.
• Compliance and Reporting.
• Participating in projects on mill/BU/divisional/Group level.

In this role, you have an amazing opportunity to drive change independently with the full support of our controlling team and your supervisor. You will report to Director Business Controlling Containerboards and in matrix to mill director.

We are looking for these qualifications when selecting for this role:
• MSc Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience from similar tasks and preferably from mill controlling.
• Ability to contribute through scenarios and analyses as well as perform against deadlines and set targets.
• Previous experience from change management and performing in a matrix organization.
• Fluency both in English and Finnish.
• Ability to use MS Office programs, HFM and SAP. PowerBI and data analytics skills are an advantage

In addition, we hope that you are a team-player who can see the bigger picture and dares to think outside of the box. The nature of the job requires the ability to network and co-operate as well as a proactive and result-orientated attitude.
