Työn kuvaus:
  On behalf of our international client we are looking for a Materials Specialist to Helsinki. This full time assignment starts as soon as the suitable person has been chosen and lasts until the end of February 2019. The selected employee will be working on Adecco's payroll.
 
In this position you will coordinate the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. You will also plan and schedule production needs. You are a proficient professional, and you contribute to projects and initiatives, influence at the site level and determine and execute to operational standards and processes. This position requires understanding of concepts, methods and procedures.
 
Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for material ordering, availability and scheduling
  • Expertise in Oracle and Digital Cockpit
  • Ensuring systemic accuracy of inventory
  • Cooperation with suppliers
  • Investigating and resolving material issues
  • Supporting material transfers, and supplier reviews with sourcing
  • Providing supply analysis data and recommendations as necessary
  • Assisting in cycle count efforts
  • Supporting tool development for prediction of material issues


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Computer proficiency
  • Working knowledge of MRP
  • Fluency in English and Finnish, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work in continuously changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Previous experience or knowledge of APICS Certification, Oracle and / or Six Sigma Green Belt will be considered as an advantage.
