We are currently working on diverse topics within hyperspectral imaging and spectral image analysis for identifying and developing future biomaterials. The overall aim is to connect the spatial and chemical properties of materials and to develop digital machine vision applications for the bioeconomy.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious student to join our team. As a Master’s thesis worker, you will concentrate on a well-defined topic of imaging and mathematical image analysis. You will perform practical imaging experiments and hopefully develop code-based image analysis algorithms based on chemometrics and machine learning in cooperation with material scientists and chemical engineers. This is an excellent opportunity to get familiar with the quickly growing areas of hyperspectral imaging and machine vision in the company of enthusiastic colleagues!

The duration of the Master's Thesis work period is 6 months and thesis work is fee paid. The exact starting date can be discussed and there are possibilities to continue after a successful thesis. Positions are filled as soon as we find the right candidate.
