Business Finland is looking for a full time, fixed term (7 months) Marketing trainee with a hands-on working style and can-do attitude. The Experience and Marketing Communication service area is among other things in charge of Business Finland’s international marketing and PR actions. We promote Finland as attractive place to invest, study, work and visit. We build Finland's country image for example to travellers via visitfinland.com. Working in Business Finland’s International Marketing and PR team offers you an excellent chance to start your career and a possibility to be part in developing Finland’s country image and helping Finnish travel companies to grow. The starting date in this position will be 1.6.2021. Because of the current Covid-19 situation the work will start as remote work. In case the restrictions do change, the work location will be Business Finland's office in Ruoholahti.

In this position, your job tasks include, for example:
Participate and assist in the Visitfinland.com website renewal project
Updating and creating content to current website
Building the new website by evaluating, editing and transferring the existing content (e.g. different articles, photos and videos). Working with the translators.
Building and testing new website’s content and functions (eg proofreading the content and testing internal and external links)
Helping with search engine optimization (key words, tagging, meta descriptions and linking)
Other International Marketing’s assisting tasks
What we expect from you:
Relevant educational background from university or university of applied sciences for example, marketing, communication, journalism or business
Previous working experience in office or administrative work (experience in communications or marketing in work life or in student association is considered as an advantage)
Skills and knowledge in content creation to website and/or social media. Skills in search engine optimization and Google Analytics is seen as an advantage
Very good communication and written skills in English and in Finnish and good skills in the Office 365 -environment.
Capability to thrive under pressure, tolerate incompleteness and have good organization skills altogether.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team: you are socially at ease in a multicultural environment and fully capable of remote working. Your team is always there to support you, but you’ll have courage to ask for help when needed
