As part of Aalto University’s increased international reputation and activity, we are looking for an inspiring Marketing Coordinator to plan and execute digital marketing in the field of technology, for the School of Electrical Engineering and the School of Science. You work closely with our six schools and our other internal and external partners. In your role, you will report to Head of Marketing, Jutta Kasslin, and you will be an integral part of the marketing team in Aalto’s Communication Services. 

As our new coordinator you will play a key role in sharing the story of Aalto University globally. By planning and implementing the schools’ marketing & recruitment strategy with your colleagues, you will truly have a chance to make an impact. As part of the role, together with the team you will build and manage digital marketing campaigns, drive traffic and create content for both international and Finnish audiences, ensuring awareness and interest in our outstanding programmes. As a marketing coordinator, you will creatively utilize different media and channels, be bold in trying new approaches while being on top of cutting-edge developments in digital marketing. As a versatile marketer, you enjoy preparing interesting high-quality content to all channels. 

The role is best suited for a fresh marketing graduate or a similar profile. The ideal candidate already has a bit of experience in the field of marketing but – most importantly – is a passionate and driven team player who wants to learn more. The future coordinator has a dynamic and curios mindset, but also positive and open-minded touch to work. 

Your skills would include — 

  • Hands-on knowledge of planning, executing and analysing search engine marketing (Google Ads) and social media marketing (FB Business Manager), and other digital marketing channels and tools  

  • Understanding omni-channel content production, from creating landing pages to webinars and social media posts to build awareness and interest towards Aalto and its study programmes 

  • Organisational skills, including project management and ability to take care of multiple projects at the same time 

  • Teamworking skills, networking skills and ability to influence and collaborate in a matrix organization with many stakeholders  

  • Innovative mind-set and positive attitude towards driving change  

  • Curiosity to learn  

  • Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken
