We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Nordic marketing team.
You will work as part of the Nordic Marketing Team but be an integral member of the Finnish Team as well. You act as a liaison between the Nordic Marketing Team and the Finnish Sales and Customer Service team and will be responsible for coordinating and initiating the marketing strategy and campaigns in Finland. Your role is to inform and direct the Finnish Team about the marketing strategy and also to give input about the local market situation and variables when participating in the Nordic Team meetings. Some reporting and data compiling is also involved.
While this isn't a managerial or supervisory role, you do need to have good interpersonal skills as you are the point of contact for the whole domestic sales staff regarding marketing strategy. You make sure deadlines are met and that the Finnish sales staff have all necessary information, material and tools to succeed reaching their goals.
While we appreciate experience from all walks of life, it would be ideal if you have a degree in marketing or similar studies. What would be really great is if you would be familiar with the Finnish retail market, its challenges and possibilities alike. The role is closer to 'junior' than 'senior' so some experience would be good but first and foremost we want desire to learn and a brave attitude to question the norm; we think curiosity is a virtue. You do not see problems but solutions. Finnish and English are equally important as working languages in both written and spoken forms. Skills in any other Nordic language would be a huge bonus.

In the future your tasks may include having ownership of all ad agency collaborations or a stronger role in the marketing strategy planning, not just execution. The role is permanent, working hours are 'normal office hours' and remote work is pretty much the norm.
