The ground for the fixed term contract is maternity leave and the work will start as soon as a suitable candidate has been selected. The work will last approximately one year and there is a possibility to permanent position. The Marketing & Communication Coordinator is a key role in executing on BCG Nordics' and country marketing & communications strategy and applying the right local tactics to support this. The role sits within the Nordic Marketing & Communications team and will work in close cooperation with the Head of Marketing & Communications and the rest of the Marketing & Communications team in the four Nordic offices. The role is based in Helsinki.

Your responsibilities:

  •  Executes on the Nordic marketing & communications strategy and plan, both by taking an active part in the Nordic mutual M&C initiatives and by executing on the aligned country level M&C plan
  • Contribute to the development of a country marketing & communications yearly plan, aligning with the Nordic M&C strategy and plan
  • Execute on an operational level on Finnish M&C activities with a current main focus on events, as a teaming effort with the organization and together with a marketing assistant
  • Cooperate with regional and local teams, regarding the practical roll out of initiatives and best practice sharing
  • Managing, delivering and developing the local client and alumni events
  • Managing suppliers and logistics, budget management, developing invitation lists, managing responses, management on the day of the event and post-event follow-up and evaluation
  • Responsible for BCG's European client event invitations in the local market
  • Understand and actively work with CRM system

  You have a suitable educational background (Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent) and minimum 3 years' experience of B2B marketing and communication in a fast-paced, global, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment. You are generalist within marketing & communications in terms of a knowledge about areas, channels and tactics. You have strong problem-solving skills and project management experience, and excellent written and verbal skills in Finnish and English. Did you get interested in this opportunity?
