Marketing and Content Manager

A.S.Helsingö is looking for a hands-on Marketing and Content Manager to help plan, produce, and monitor our marketing activities, with a focus on content and social media This role requires someone who is detail-oriented and creative, with stellar writing skills, a good visual eye and a genuine interest in design. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and creating content to support Helsingö’s digital properties, as well as working with the rest of the team to manage and execute against the broader strategy of constantly improving our customer experience no matter the channel.

  • Develop and contribute to the brand, marketing and consumer experience strategy.
  • Develop and implement our content strategy and processes to scale output content.
  • Manage and collaborate with content creation agencies and freelancers.
  • Collaborate with designers and photographers to produce interesting, beautiful content that inspire and engage our audience.
  • Craft original content for social media platforms that garners high engagement and represents the voice and brand of A.S.Helsingö.
  • Blog and create newsletters on an ongoing basis to support the customer engagement and to attract site visitors through search, social, and our email subscribers.
  • Develop and own the marketing plan for launching new, and updating existing, content to the site.
  • Manage and support the E-commerce team in prioritization and implementation of new and enhanced website functionalities to improve the customer experience.
  • Identify content needs based current state analysis, site metrics, consumer insights and stakeholder feedback.
  • Develop and manager customer experience improvement initiatives across the customer journey, regardless of the channel used.



  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or in a similar field
  • Fluent in Finnish and English with excellent written communication skills. Fluency in Swedish is considered a major plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within digital content strategy
  • Familiar with digital marketing and inbound marketing tactics
  • A good visual eye and a genuine interest in design
  • Extensive analytical skills: You’re a highly creative writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
  • Understanding and functional experience with search engine optimization practices
  • Experience with social media management/measurement tools, particularly Facebook and Google Analytics
  • Basic knowledge of design principles (experience with Photoshop/Indesign is a plus)
  • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
