MARKET SEGMENT MANAGER

Together with competent sales and aftermarket colleagues you will be responsible for achieving growing sales figures and ensuring best solutions for customers by using Leica Geosystems workflow in Finland.
The main components to this role are: Maintain and build strategic relationships with existing and potential customers, and industry contacts. Support sales and technical support with strong understanding of customer challenges and build the bridge between the local company and the production units and create and sustain close relationship with colleagues in the same roles in the Nordics. You will be expected to act as a thought leader in the geomatics domain.
In this role you will develop and maintain key external partner relationships to the product strategy and success for your area of responsibility. You will seek insights into technical and client requirements for products from the market to ensure that our sales strategy will set Leica/Hexagon apart from its competitors. You will work closely with sales and technical support team to maximize customer experience and market penetration of relevant product segment. You will support marketing team to develop marketing plans and material and execute product releases. We are expecting you to perform market analysis and monitor new technologies and competitive products. Overall you are interested in market intelligence -collecting, assembling and sharing market conditions and changes, competition analysis, market price development, and new technology trends. Your insight to product pricing together with sales management is essential for our success and you will also provide info for our management to prepare sales budgets and reports.
You will be defining and implementing the strategy for the geomatics segment in collaboration with other internal stakeholders and ensure the end-product is in line with the solution strategy. During the working year you will engage in relevant external forums to be at the forefront of important developments in the business area and you will supply management with oral and written reports with high quality on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services by using our systems like Salesforce and other Leica Geosystems ecosystem tools.
Experience and Qualifications
We are expecting you to have several years experiences in the geomatics product segment. You have strong customer focus with knowledge and understanding of the customers critical needs. You are experienced in preparing proposals and conducting formal presentations and trainings. Sales experience is regarded as benefit.
We are looking for the person with strong communication and networking skills. You are able to form strong relationships with internal and external customers and other stakeholders, and
represent the company professionally. You are committed to constant improvement, to enhance efficiency within your professional area. We wish you have a proven ability to create enthusiasm and drive motivation across the organization. You are well-structured, motivated, results driven, flexible team player, who has a solid customer focus and strong sense of urgency with different interfaces. This role is reporting to Managing Director of Leica Geosystems Oy.
