Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Market Access Strategy & Operations Head role is to;

  • Establish and implement functional excellence across the Nordic MAX & EA team by coordinating market access and pricing processes within team and business processes with other functions.
  • Lead projects in the area of MAX & EA related to e.g. organization, tenders and pricing, training, and market access planning.
  • Work alongside the Medical Strategy and Operations Leader and the Commercial Strategy and Operations Leader to ensure business excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement functional excellence across the Nordic MAX & EA team by coordinating processes, strategic initiatives and planning within the team, and with other function (e.g. business processes, strategic and operational planning processes, price forecasting)
  • Drive projects in the area of MAX & EA related to e.g. organization, tender and pricing, market access planning, LOE strategies, cross-divisional collaboration
  • Support continued innovation and business development through close cross-functional coordination with Medical, Commercial and Finance, resulting in aligned objectives and integrated plans
  • Coordinate monitoring of tenders, contracts and pricing
  • Coordinate monitoring related to developments in the health care systems and market access environment in the Nordic markets
  • Develop materials and provide information to other functions about MAX & EA and the Nordic market access environment
  • Provide expertise and analytical skills to projects and ad hoc market access analyses
  • Establish / maintain MAX & EA processes (SOPs, WPs, FRMs, etc)
  • Coordinate MAX team activities and trainings

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

University degree in e.g. economics, business administration, or other area relevant for the role

  • Excellent English, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge in one or more Nordic languages
  • Previous experience of at least 5 years in pharmaceutical industry, incl 3 years in market access.
