Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Location: Kerava, Finland
Contract type: full-time, permanent
We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to improve our pump unit manufacturing quality as part of Marioff’s Operations Quality team. Our products are comprehensive systems that have been tailored according to customer requirements. Some of the projects are confidential and for them you will be subject to a security clearance. You will be stationed at our production facility in Kerava.
Main Responsibilities:
Improve and maintain quality of assembly and test production processes
Manage and process product-related findings from production to Engineering and other stakeholders
Contribute to Engineering Change process as manufacturing quality expert
Work in co-operation with Supplier Quality Manager, Sourcing, Engineering and Project Management to manage quality requirements of key suppliers in welded structures and surface treatments (painting)
Co-operation with customers’ quality organizations to understand and fulfill their requirements
Implement APQP and PPAP methods, including FMEA.
Manage FAIR documentation in special customer projects
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Technical education (BSc in Mechanics or similar)
Knowledge of quality tools and methods commonly utilized in production, such as PFMEA, PPAP, RCA, Gage R&R.
Communication skills in English and Finnish, both spoken and written
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Strong teamworking skills & ability to work independently
Strong commitment to improve quality
It would be an advantage if you have:
Manufacturing experience in mechanical assembly
Understanding of PLCs
Experience in working with PDM and ERP systems
