Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• Lead newly formed team of production engineers, production technician and install an efficient production maintenance organization to take care of daily maintenance plans execution.
• Have responsibility for people development, empower employees and foster cooperation and teamwork.
• Manage technical availability (OEE), scrap and stops of production equipment and take responsibility for improving process technologies continuously.
• Drive problem solving to root cause and implement countermeasures.
• Deploy LEAN standards for centerline management, cleaning, inspection and lubrication.
• Collaborate with other functions like Quality and Engineering.
• Manage production maintenance within area of responsibility for global supply considering safety, quality, compliance, delivery and cost.

• Excellent and proven leadership skills and several years of experience in production and/or maintenance.
• Sound knowledge in technical competences, LEAN production and economics (e.g. KPI’s, Product Costing).
• Very good understanding of supporting processes associated with operations and maintenance of a plant/site.
• Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Experience working in pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry would be a clear benefit.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Creative and able to solve complex problems on a timely manner
• Fluent English and Finnish.
• Master's Degree in engineering or another appropriate scientific discipline. Additional MBA would be a clear benefit.
