Manufacturing Engineer
Vantaa, Finland

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to be part of our CDS Business Unit Process Engineering team in Vantaa, to support process validation in SAP implementation. We are implementing S4 HANA SAP solution with manufacturing execution system that leads to paperless production environment. The position is fixed term for 10 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process validation, documentation and reporting
  • Supporting changes required with SAP implementation in instrument manufacturing process
  • Maintaining, developing and organizing documentation and work instructions for products, production processes and production tools

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Technician or Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, automation or production engineering or equivalent field
  • Fluent communication skills in spoken and written Finnish and English
  • Experience in project work
  • Good IT skills and experience in MS Office tools
  • Experience in working in manufacturing environment (preferably instrument assembly)
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies/methods

Additionally we value:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Experience in process validation, documentation and reporting
  • Experience and knowledge on IVD regulations
  • Work experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Value Stream Mapping and process control
  • Experience in the use of PDM systems and CAD tools (Solid Works preferred)
