Kaukora was founded in 1976 in Finland and is one of the leading companies within water heaters, boilers and heat pumps in Finland. Kaukoras products are sold under the brands JÄSPI and JÄMÄ in Finland and under FOCUS in Sweden. Kaukora exports products to among other Russia, Germany, Sweden and Norway. In 2004 Kaukora Oy was acquired by the Swedish NIBE Group and became an integrated part of NIBE Climate Solutions.

Kaukora has 127 employees and reached a turnover of approximately 28M€ in 2017.
Kaukora is a stabile company with a solid base that is ready to expand its business to reach future targets on growth and profitability. With the historical background in water heaters and boilers, primarily for the Finnish market, Kaukora has recently taken first steps in the heat pump technology.

Now we are aiming for an extension of the product portfolio as well as market penetration and we are looking for a new Managing Director to lead the way. The current Managing Director will retire after 42 years of employment in the Finnish organization.

We are now looking for a Managing Director with traditional leader tasks in a sales company. You can work independently and self-driven with professional support from Sweden. You are a natural leader and capable of getting the best out of your people. An entrepreneur who is driven by achieving commercial success. The Managing Director reports to the company’s Board.

1. Education

Preferably Master of Science or Master of Business Administration. The position does require good technical understanding and administrative knowledge of economical, business and management matters.

2. Experience and background

A number of years of relevant work experience in a commercial and technical environment. Additionally, you have proven to be successful in managing a sales organisation. Work experience in the sector involved and a feel for the products is strongly preferred. You speak and write Finnish and English fluently. English is the corporate language of the NIBE Group. Swedish skills are considered a plus but not a requirement.

3. Location

The role is located in Raisio and we prefer that you are able to commute daily between your home and the office. The job includes at least 25-30 travelling days per year.
