We are now looking for a Manager, Pulp to join our Biorefining Financial Control team. This position is located in Tampere, Finland.

UPM Financial Operations is a customer service oriented global function providing financial expertise for all UPM businesses and functions. What you’ll do

As Manager, Pulp you lead professional team providing on time, high-quality and effective accounting and reporting services. In this role you ensure compliance in accounting and reporting. In addition, you provide reporting and analysing expertise for Pulp SBU. You also develop the reporting and analyses based on business needs.

  • You are responsible for accounting and reporting services for named area including business, group, statutory and tax view
  • You lead the service team
  • You support and spar stakeholders with finance analysis and accounting process knowhow
  • You participate in budgeting, forecasting and other business planning processes when needed
  • You act as a key contact to stakeholders
  • You identify and drive continuous quality and efficiency improvements
  • You prioritize improvement opportunities in your own area

Who you are

You are a strong leader with long experience and good people management skills. You are familiar with operating in global organization and you have excellent influencing and collaboration skills. In addition, you are used to constantly evolving business environment and you have good change management capabilities.

  • You have Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of work experience
  • You have advanced knowledge in accounting and reporting processes
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You are fluent in English and Finnish
