Manager, Growth Support & Supplier Relations Management

Your role

This is a completely new high impact role in the heart of Fortum Recycling and Waste Business Area in our Operational Excellence team. You are acting as supply chain and service execution sourcing related specialist, supporting all Recycling and Waste Business Lines in growth cases focusing on recycling materials and in overall steering of supplier relations management activities.

You are responsible of supporting recycling Materials Business Lines on business platform building within scope of supply chain management. This is meaning that you act as supply chain responsible in growth cases from supplier selection, new process building, order to cash process creation, structure build to hand over to operative business line functional supply chain teams. You are developing and owning supply chain platform related processes together with other stakeholders. You support merges & acquisitions related integration processes in the transfer phase into Fortum structures in regards to supply chain scope.

With your expertise you steer and develop Fortum Recycling and Waste outsourced service execution sourcing and supplier relation management activities when related to activities in direct customer interface. This is including development of supplier selection process, supplier segmentation and focused supplier development. You own structure and process for supplier relation management, supplier steering, benchmarking and spend follow up processes. You also support strategic suppliers and partners management.

Your qualifications

To succeed, we need people with varying backgrounds, people who are curious and eager to make an impact. The ideal candidate for this position has proven track record in supply chain, process development and experience of supplier relations management at industrial environment.

You already have solid experience as manager in change management tasks. You understand end-to-end processes, optimization of value chains and can adapt to different requirements of multiple business models.

You have strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills and you are able to high level process development at order fulfillment and transaction processes. From experience, you understand sourcing strategy and tactics to balance between short term goals and mid-term supplier management targets.

As an ideal academic background, you hold a master’s degree in relevant field for example Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management. We expect fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are an asset.
