Manager, Engineering System Tools
Your main task will be implementing engineering system tools and solutions in order to support product development and manufacturing engineering. You are responsible for designing and driving continuous improvement plans/opportunities as well as developing strategic plans and leading projects to implement new engineering tools. In working with teams in different geographical locations (domestic and international) on customer projects, you will translate user needs into requirements and provide knowledge transfer to development teams. You will liaison between engineering team and customers engineering system tools team to meet business needs during project. In projects you need to provide regular, effective and proactive communication on progress and escalations to senior management. You task is to provide primary support for implemented tools including tool administration and ensure resolution of identified issue, completion of Test Plans, Testing and User training for new tools . You act as an interface with IT to ensure tools are compatible and consistent with IT strategy.
We expect you to have a technical degree such as a Bachelor’s/Master´s Degree in Information Technology. You can be either an experienced person with extensive work experience in product development related field or a just graduated with the right attitude. To succeed in this task you need to have some practical experience in CAD systems such as Catia, NX and PLM Systems such as Teamcenter, Smarteam. You are familiar with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) architecture and creating a roadmap for realization and deployment on engineering system tools. Engineering system tools solution architecture knowledge and experience from Virtual Commissioning and Digital Twin are considered as an additional benefit. You have proven ability to work in a team environment and are results oriented self-starter with project management attitude. You have ability to effectively communicate, convince and influence employees at all levels in the organization and with development teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is needed as well as willingness to travel.
