As a region Compensation & Benefits manager you are responsible for high quality implementation of our global C&B processes in EMEA. This includes a wide range of different responsibilities, for example overseeing Valmet’s base pay administration e.g. job grading/evaluation, maintenance of salary ranges and coordinating both annual and off-cycle pay adjustment processes as well as country specific statutory salary increases in EMEA. You will support and provide compensation analysis for strategic business purposes from the countries in the responsible area as well as support operative HR with global and local salary planning processes and benefit plan management. You would be administering short term incentive plans in accordance with Valmet guidelines and providing advice, analysis and support to line managers and operational HR. As a part of the global C&B team, you will contribute with the development of the processes, practices and usage of our HR system.
Your location can be any major Valmet location in Finland.
You have relevant educational background (e.g. Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field) and at least 3 years work experience in the Human Resources field and a keen interest in compensation & benefits issues.
You have excellent motivation and attitude, and ability to achieve results under pressure. Excellent written and spoken English is a must along with effective communication and presentation skills. You should also have willingness and ability to travel within Europe as needed. You have networking skills and an ability to quickly build relationships and achieve results both individually and as part of a team.
