Manager Coating Technology

We are looking for a motivated (Senior) Manager Coating Technology for our technology team in Kotka, Finland. This person is in charge of continuous technical improvement projects, leading development and implementation of new products and supporting optimization of existing products at Kotkamills & other MM Group mills.

Your Role

• You get to be part of developing new sustainable packaging production to substitute plastics

• You are the interface between operations, sales, technical customer service and technology team ensuring successful execution of projects at Kotkamills as well as group wide

• You would lead the data collection and analysis and proactively suggest improvements in process parameters and product recipes

• You will develop and execute standard operating procedures and product recipes

• You will contribute to the central technology team located in Vienna by supporting development projects at other mills

We are looking someone who is able to work in fast paced and multinational environment. You have good social and communication skills and work with proactive touch.

You have university degree in papermaking, chemical engineering or packaging and at least 20 years of production and R&D experience. To succeed in this task, you need hands on pragmatic approach and solution oriented as well as analytic mindset. We require fluent English. Other language skills are an advantage.

This position requires working from the Kotkamills site. Remote work is occasionally possible based on the request. You also need to be able to travel 20% of the time.
