We are looking for a

Manager, Accounts Receivables

to join our Group Financial Services located in Käpylä, Helsinki.

You will work in the Group Financial Services management team in close co-operation with our Global Process owner, Development Manager and other Team managers. To ensure good service level you will also do close co-operation with business management. The main processes in Group Financial Services scope are general ledger, asset accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, credit control and payment support.

As Team Manager in Accounts Receivables your main responsibility is to manage a team of about 15 people. You are responsible for ensuring day-to-day activities and guidance of Shared Service Center Accounts receivables team. You set both short term and long term (KPI) targets and review and assess performance of team members. You will also ensure the adequate level of resources in your team. By implementing guidelines, controls and best practices, you ensure team compliance.

In this position you will also make sure that any gaps in performance or quality are quickly identified and addressed. You manage the period/quarter/year-end processes and deliver all required activities accurate and on time. 

We expect you to have:

  • Strong ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels 
  • Thorough understanding of Accounts Receivables process (end-to-end)
  • Overall understanding of finance processes is considered as an advantage
  • More than 5 years of relevant working experience and experience from international business
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required with a preference in Accounting/Finance or related field 
  • Finnish and English skills, other language skills are considered as an asset

Prior experience of working in a Shared service center is preferred.
