Maintenance Hub Engineer
Fortum Hydro is in the process of implementing a Maintenance HUB in its operations for all hydropower plants and dams in Finland and Sweden. With Maintenance HUB, you will be able to monitor the function and technical status of the facilities' various equipment with the help of operational data, data models and analyzes and, if necessary, propose and initiate various maintenance measures. We are now looking for two engineers who want to work as a Maintenance HUB Engineer at Fortum.
In the role of Maintenance HUB Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring 15-20 of our power plants with associated dams and ordering maintenance measures from our outsourced partner. You will be responsible for informing internal stakeholders about detected deteriorations, errors and deficiencies as well as producing and delivering statistics and operational data. The role includes proposing changes in both predetermined and condition-controlled maintenance. Furthermore, you are expected to participate, propose and test new functions for automatic analyzes and monitoring functions.
You will be part of a team of 9-10 people in Sweden and Finland.
The position is located at one of our offices in Borlänge, Karlstad, Stockholm, Östersund, Imatra or Muhos.

To be successful in the role, we believe that you have a good understanding and interest in energy and hydropower production. We expect you to have an engineering education in a relevant field as well as practical experience of hydropower. You are communicative, have a strong analytical ability and good knowledge of IT tools. You also have good understanding of Swedish or Finnish language as well as English in both speech and writing. As a person, you are easy to work with, prioritize safety and have a high ambition to deliver the results of your work.
Travel both within and outside the country occurs, driver's license is a requirement.
