Maintenance Engineer, Systems and Processes

As a Maintenance Engineer you will participate in planning and establishing the maintenance function of the new nuclear power plant. You will also oversee the plant supplier's work. You will take part in the planning and implementation of maintenance management software and processes. Part of your duties will be to launch and execute sub-projects related to these. As a team member, you will work closely with the plant supplier and the authorities.

Your main tasks will include

  • Implementation of software for the management of operation and maintenance
  • Planning and execution of subprojects related to implementation of maintenance processes and data
  • Contribution to developing instructions in Fennovoima’s management system
  • Long-term planning for establishment of Fennovoima's maintenance function

Eventually, your job will also include participation in equipment acceptance and commissioning activities. You will assist with your experience in preventive maintenance programs, spare part management and outage management.

The ideal candidate for this position has

  • Education: Engineer or graduate engineer
  • About 2-5 years of experience in maintenance tasks or software implementation in maintenance management
  • The ability to work single-handed and act on one's own initiative
  • Experience of nuclear power plants will be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
  • Language skills: advanced English speaking and writing skills. Finnish will be an advantage.

Work location: The work location at first is in Helsinki office but starting in Pyhäjoki office can also be negotiated. Later the work location will be in Pyhäjoki.
