Job Description

We are now seeking for a Logistics Manager to join our Flow Control Purchasing and Logistics team in Vantaa.

As a Logistics Manager, you are responsible for the In-House logistics activities and development. Our logistics processes include goods receiving, warehousing, item picking for assembly streams and item stock taking. We are aiming high and the development to build a “world class” logistics operations is in a good speed. Besides AGV forklift trucks, a year ago we invested in three modern automated warehouse systems. It is clear that continuous improvement of the operations is an essential part of your job as Logistics Manager.

You and your warehouse supervisor are the managers of ca. 25  logistics professionals which brings HR and HSE aspect to your daily work.


To Succeed

To be successful in this position you have a degree in Logistics or Manufacturing and already some previous experience in working with similar tasks. We are looking for a good team player with strong interpersonal skills and customer oriented mindset. Your main counterparts besides your own team are assembly value streams, Transval (our logistic partner), quality, purchasing and other Metso Valves manufacturing plants.

You should have good IT skills and be willing to learn new systems quickly. Previous experience in M3 and good Excel skills  will be seen as your advantage. You work fluently both in English and Finnish (both written and spoken).
